'Polly' Alocasia is a compact houseplant from the elephant ear family, known for its distinctive glossy leaves thats native to tropical regions of south-east Asia. Also known as the African mask plant, it's the most popular Alocasia grown indoors. Alocasia ‘Polly’ has deep green leaves that they look black. Contrasted with deep silvery veins, scalloped edges, and a purply underside, this stunner adds the wow factor to any collection. Despite it's popularity, its not beginner friendly. Sunlight
Thrives in medium to bright indirect light. Not suited for low light or full direct sun.
Water
Water every 1-2 weeks allowing half of the soil to dry out between waterings. Expect to water more often in brighter light conditions and less often in lower light. Plant will benefit from higher humidity.
