The Begonia Maculata is, commonly known as the 'Polka Dot Plant', 'Spotted Begonia', and 'Polka Dot Begonia,' one of the most photogenic houseplants in our collection. The plant's unique and colorful appearance, including flowers that range from white to pink to coral, makes it so popular among plant enthusiasts. It earns its nicknames from the unique silver polka dots on its leaves. The leaves are an deep olive green with crimson red undersides. Once the plant reaches maturity after several years, it blooms bell-shaped white flowers sometimes they are red. Interestingly, its stems look just like bamboo. They can grow up to almost 5 feet tall and 20 inches in width.

Thrives in medium to bright indirect light. Can tolerate low light conditions. Not suited for direct sun.
Water
