A textural and low-maintenance floor plant, the Dracaena Compacta features slender trunks and a beautifully laddered, lush silhouette. Native to Southeast Africa, the Dracaena Compacta is an ideal easy-care plant for beginner plant parents. There are over 100 varieties of this evergreen, woody plant. Compacta gets its name from the fact that it is smaller and very different from most of the other plants in the Dracaena family. Not to mention, it's tightly packed foliage also helped it earn the nickname Compacta Dragon Tree. This unique plant belongs to the family of Agavaceae or Agavoideae. It is one of the most loved variety in the Dracaena family.
Thrives in medium sunlight. In low light areas they grow very slowly or not at all. Rotate plant weekly so they don’t grow toward the light, become one sided, and lose their beautiful shape. Mist plant 3-5 times weekly.
Water every 2 weeks to keep the soil for overwatering. Allow the top ¾ of the soil to dry out before next watering.
